Random Encounters

Every encounter in life, is an experience that enlightens the human heart, mind and soul in some shape, form, or fashion. There are no haphazards situations in life, random meetings allow us to share plus shed light on the common human experiences we all face in our lives.

The experiences we face in life happen differently for each individual, but the struggle is real and common. Life is not a flowery bed of ease, there are some challenges we all will encounter. If we hold our head up high, everything’s going to be alright. Love will break through and cast down every shadow of darkness. Always look on the bright side.

” Relish the moments that come in life. Appreciate the unfamiliar or uncommon encounters. These uncommon encounters allow us to see the full picture of life, it gives us new perspectives, new lessons, new ideas, etc…

” Trust “

In these times of uncertainty, that’s when trust in God is paramount. Trust in the Lord. The Lord Jeaus Christ is the overseer and he has an overview of the whole situation. The Lord is certain. We can only see the circumstances on a road level perspective, but God can see everything eternally. God is a supernatural being. He can see 2 to 6 months from now. Let us look unto the hill from whence our help cometh. God is in control. Trust and obey. His word will provide every need according to his riches in glory. Elshaddai, Jehovah-Jireh is still in our midst. Trust in the Lord I say. Praise God almighty. There is hope in these times of despair.

Stay blessed and stay safe. God richly bless you all.

“An End, The End “

Thus, saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land. Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations. – Ezekiel 7:2-3

The end; the world’s end; the end of all things; the time of the end; we are sure it will be; we are sure it will be; yet how hard, do we find it, to realize the thought of it, and get it fully into our mind’s eye. We know it, but we scarcely know how to put our minds to it. On every side we see and hear things which ought to put us in mind of it; which God intended for that purpose; yet on the other hand we are every moment tempted to forget it, and to behave as if it would never come.

On every side we see and hear things which ought to put us in mind of it; which God intended for that purpose; yet on the other hand we are every moment tempted to forget it, and to behave as if it would never come. In one sense, I say there is no moment, in which we are not reminded of the Last Great Day. For all things around us, and we ourselves, are in a continual flow and change; like a stream of water, which can never be still for an instant. Thus, day is continually passing into night, and night again into day; spring, summer, autumn, winter, are constantly following each other: as the days, hours, minutes pass away. We feel that they are gone for ever, and that we shall never see them again. The very outward appearance of things changes, by the growth of trees, the decay of buildings, and the like; and we feel in ourselves, and see in others, that neither we nor any of our brethren and sisters can possibly continue in one stay.

In these and in other ways we are made to feel continually, how true those words are, ” In the midst of life we are in death.” Each day and hour is, so far, a preparation for the last day and hour, in that each day and hour takes away from us something or other which we shall never see again. So far, the notion of coming to an end ought to be very familiar to us; and in books and in conversation it is very familiar. All confess and own it; but very few seem really to have it brought home to their minds. Very few use themselves to think of it, and to help themselves by it, as they might, in the temptations and trials of their life.

– John Keble, ” The End of All Things “

” Daily Load “

” It’s not the load that breaks you down it’s the way you carry it. “

Don’t try to handle everything by yourself, there is a weapon called prayer that can help you carry the load of the future and the past. The past belongs to history, the future belongs to the Lord. He sees everything and knows everything. Stop worrying about everything, just pray that the Lord gives you daily bread for the need at hand.

We can’t control everything. Many times we get anxious and frightful when we lose control of life. We want all things in life to meet our demands and scheduled routines. Sometimes we stress so much at every little detail of life, for example: we may have a speech, seminar, or presentation coming up, we prepare so much on how we will conduct our speech. We create a list and think about the word we will speak, we ponder every thought process , but yet when we get to the presentation we don’t even say what we imagined or prepared in our mind.

We must let the ebbs of life flow with liberty and freedom. We must relinquish our will power to control everything. We must just release the tension that tenaciously binds us. Let the creator and source of life guide your path and journey through life’s mountains and valleys. Follow your instincts and you will never go wrong. That still small voice in your heart still resonates truth and light for the challenges ahead.

” Encouragement “

We all have those days when sadness oozes into our thoughts. Sometimes our problems come in bunches, and our circuit breakers all flip out at the same time. We simply go into overload. When we have too many things to think about, we often become discouraged about Jesus. Amid the uproar of clanging thoughts competing for the attention of our minds, the spiritual rhythm we had developed dissolves into doubt and fear and discouragement. We go before the Lord, wondering where He is. Why have you left me?

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:37‭-‬39 KJV

Sometimes we forget these words of encouragement. It is not the mind-bending, intellectually stimulating truths that encourage our downcast spirit. It is the simple truth of the gospel-the everlasting love of the Lord Jesus that revives our soul. The old gospel, it is the power of God for the salvation for everyone who believes.

” Holiness “

The forgiveness of Christ makes us holy; He washed away our sin. In reality, God in us – the Holy Spirit makes us holy. There is no possibility of holiness apart from God’s grace. He calls is, He justifies us, He sanctifies us (make us holy), and He will glorify us all by His grace. Our part is to surrender in faith; God’s part is to implant the sanctifying Holy Spirit in us.

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature ”  – Galatians 5:16

Becoming holy is a process which includes God’s part and our part. On one hand, our part is to stay out of God’s part, to yield, to surrender, to stop seeking God on our own terms. But our part also is to obey. It is to enter into God’s rehabilitation program.

When you put yourself under a doctor’s care, he cannot help you if you don’t follow his instructions. As the patient surrenders his own good ideas and obeys the doctor’s instruction, he becomes well. The same is true in sanctification. If you want to be made holy, then we must willingly surrender ourselves to His care and we must actively obey God’s instructions.
